Pretty sloppy play and never in it the first period. Vasy looked off. Hand it to the Leafs they got a good ass kicking from Babcock and we're ready to play time for Coop to take a page out of his book. Forget it and move on everyone else lost too so not a lot of damage.

The failure of the Power Play is something they need to work on since they sure had a lot of chances including a 5 on 3 opportunity. I don't believe Drouin had a shot on net. After the 4th Leaf goal, the team seemed to be just going through the motions.

Best to put this one behind them after 3 games in 4 nights and get ready for Saturday. This season is far from over and the Capitals are not red hot right now so let's go Lightning.

Tampa has been wrecked by injuries this year. Even if they miss the playoffs(which, admittedly, I'm cheering for, unless they get in at Boston's expense), they'll probably be back.

Got to play the 4th line when you have 3 games in such a tight schedule to give the others a chance to catch their breath.

Witkowski took some dumb penalties too ie the one leading to the 4th goal.

I'd take McKegg back for his name alone.

It's a testament to how bad Tampa wants to win that they can trade Boyle, replace him with Froese, on top of the other missing centermen, and still climb into the playoff race.

Tampa will be in the race until the end. Toronto has a pretty tough remaining schedule so we shall see how this finishes. Would like to see both teams make it but not likely.

True, they are beatable. But they always give us trouble (except in the 2011 playoffs) and Holtby is capable of stealing any game.
